The Halls of Service – Honoring Scioto Township Trustees
As you walk through the halls of the Scioto Township Service Center, you’ll find plaques honoring the leaders who helped shape our township over the generations. The oldest plaque on display lists the names of Trustees going all the way back to the 1840s—many of which will be familiar to current residents, as our township roads still bear their names to this day.
If you’re a member of our community and have any information, documents, or photos related to the individuals listed here, we would love to hear from you. Our dream is to build a more complete and documented history of Scioto Township. Whether it’s a family photo, handwritten letter, or just a story passed down—every contribution helps preserve our shared heritage.
Please reach out to us at cwasmus@sciototownship.gov — we’d be truly grateful for anything you’re willing to share.
Starting with the earliest records available, this list recognizes those who have served as elected Trustees of Scioto Township over the years. While many of these names appear on the plaques, this list is maintained as a growing record—honoring both the legacy and ongoing story of public service in our township.
