Medic 401/402: Our Commitment to Emergency Medical Services

At the Scioto Township Fire Department, we are dedicated to serving our community with excellence and professionalism. With a focus on emergency medical services, we proudly operate two fully staffed medical units: Medic 401 and Medic 402.

State-of-the-Art Medical Units: Our medical units, Medic 401 and Medic 402, are equipped with the latest technology and resources to provide advanced life support (ALS) care to our residents. Both units are Ford F550s, ensuring reliability and maneuverability in emergency situations.

Advanced Life Support Services: Equipped with cardiac monitors and a comprehensive range of life-saving medications, our medical units are ready to respond to any medical emergency with precision and expertise. Our highly trained paramedics are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Enhanced Cardiac Care: In our commitment to improving patient outcomes, we have invested in LUCAS chest compression devices for each of our medical units. These devices provide consistent and effective chest compressions during cardiac arrest, increasing the chances of survival for our patients.
