Zoning Commission Meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the Scioto Township Service Center.
Members Present: Chair Weatherhead, Younkin, Wasmus, Jacob, and alternate Nicole
Chair Weatherhead called the meeting to order at 7:00P.M.
Younkin motioned to accept the September 17, 2024 minutes and Cory seconded. Vote: All Yes
Old Business: Wasmus sent a letter to all of the Trustees about the joint meeting that they were wanting to have with the Zoning Commission and BZA. The trustees decided to have the joint meeting on December 11, 2024 at 6:ooP.M. with Attorney Griggs in attendance.
Nicole talked about comparing our township to other townships.
Also discussed were what size  Agriculture Lots should be.
Solar Panels need to be discussed.
The Trustees need to say what changes they would like to have in the Zoning Book, and then the Zoning Commission will look into them. This could be a long and expensive process.
Chair Weatherhead said that you have to be complete and fair to all people. All land owners need to be treated the same.
Zoning Inspector said that new homes are being built without any permits. They think that they only have to go to Circleville and not the township to get them.

New Business: Work on Residential Solar Panels and discuss them at the next meeting.
A revised motion was made by Cory to work on Solar Panels upon approval by the Trustees .Â
Motioned by Weatherhead and seconded by Cory . Vote: All Yes
The January Meeting will start the process.
Z. Inspector Schulz showed the Zoning Permits.
